Inspections

Services are offered in mechanical fields for “Classified and Designated Machinery”. Statutory compliance with Acts and Regulations, Compliance with Australian Standards and Safety audits and accident investigation and site equipment pre inspections. Items of plant may include: Mobile cranes, forklifts, Elevating work platforms, mobile plant, pressure vessels and other types of plant.

Training

NWTIS is a Registered Training Organisation, which delivers training and assessment services from the “Resource and Industry Infrastructure Package – RII09” NWTIS has scope to deliver the following units of competency.

NWTIS are also able to offer Working at Heights/Safety Harness and Confined Space Entry training as well. We can arrange for these courses to be delivered on site or at our premises.

All Accredited and Registered Courses are conducted in accordance with the National Standard for High Risk Work, the AQTF guidelines, the Western Australian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Department of Minerals and Energy Regulations.

The company has a range of assessors and trainers able to conduct Verification of Competency Assessments in a wide range of industries from construction and mining, civil earthmoving and offshore areas.

NWTIS is approved to carry out training and assessing for clients including Pilbara Iron, BHP Billiton, Chevron and Dampier Salt, and has been working on many different sites within the Pilbara, Kimberley and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.
