Operate Elevating Work Platform
Training
Conducted in accordance with AS2550.1(2011),AS2550.10 (2009) the National Standard for Persons Performing High Risk Work and the WA Act and regulations as required by Worksafe WA and Department of Minerals and energy. This course provides trainees with the theory, knowledge and practical aspects of the certificate required for competency in operation of Elevating Work Platforms – Boom type greater than 11 metres.
Assessment
Knowledge and practical assessment will be conducted to achieve overall Certificate of Competency to be issued by Worksafe Western Australia.

Protective Clothing
Safety glasses, work boots and appropriate clothing is required for the duration of the course. Safety helmets and safety harnesses can be provided.
Duration
2 x 8 hour days for up to 6 persons- inexperienced
Prerequisite
Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Participants are required to provide proof of On The Job Training or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) prior to assessment. If you believe you have any special needs, (numeracy, literacy, reading, language, mental health & physical disabilities) alternate arrangements can be negotiated with NWTIS to accommodate. Please let us know either in advance or directly to the trainer so we can help assist you.
