SCAFFOLD BASIC LEVEL

Training will be conducted in accordance with the following:

  • The National Standard for Persons Performing High Risk Work (HRW)
  • WA WHS Act and Regulations as required by Worksafe WA and the Department of Minerals and Energy
  • Training is conducted in accordance with the AQTF guidelines and the Unit Of Competence (UOC) from the CPC09 package

This course provides trainees with the theory, knowledge and practical aspects of the certificate required for competency in

Basic Scaffolding operations.

Assessment

Written theory, knowledge and practical assessment will be conducted to achieve the following:

  • High Risk Work Licence to be issued by Worksafe Western Australia.
  • A Statement of Attainment will also be issued to the successful applicants who complete the assessment requirements of the Unit of Competence and the Worksafe WA assessment instrument.

**It is the responsibility of the trainee to ensure the correct PPE is bought to the course**

Scaffolder’s belt and tools provided, however if preferred, trainees can bring their own

5 x 8 hour days for up to 8 persons each class

Prerequisite

Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for the practical sections of this course as well as the ability to work at height.

Location

All Courses are conducted at NWTIS premises or can be arranged at alternative location at client’s request.  Price may alter depending on location.
